Mass Effect Hints
Find Wrex's Armor
1 of 8: Wrex will tell you that the turian who stole his family armor is in the Argos Rho cluster, but any more than that, it's up to you to explore for. (This is the same cluster where you'll work on the "UNC: Distress Call" assignment.)
2 of 8: You're looking for Tuntau in the Phoenix system.
3 of 8: When you land on this uncharted planet, you'll see a point of interest in the SE corner of the map labeled "Hidden Structure."
4 of 8: There are just a few snipers outside guarding it. Take care of them -- remembering that the Mako is faster but worth fewer XP -- and enter the structure. As you approach the first door inside the facilty, if Wrex is in your party, he'll say he recognizes the base. (This is where you'll pick up the objective if you just stumbled upon it without first talking to Wrex on the Normandy.)
5 of 8: There will be a few pirates of various levels, including the leader Tonn Actus, inside the main cargo hold of this location. They won't rush at you when you first enter the room, as pirates sometimes do in these bases, but will tend to stay a bit back from the door. If you turn to your left, start shooting at them, and then retreat back to the main door -- ordering your squad to do the same -- this may tease out some of your opponents. Otherwise, it's likely you'll get flanked from one side if you try to fight from the center of the room, even under cover.
6 of 8: In any case, there don't seem to be any conveniently located plasma cores that you can just shoot at for grenade-like effects -- you'll need to target the pirates one by one. (If some shoot down at you from on the upper floor, you may be able to shoot some fuel tanks up there to blow them up.)
7 of 8: Once everyone is dead, the armor you're looking for is located on the upper floor, so go up the stairs in the corner of the facility.
8 of 8: The wall safe on the western wall of the storage room here will have the armor. It's locked with easy decryption and may look like it has normal inventory items in it when you first open it, but exit the equipment screen, and then Wrex will identify his armor if he's with you. Otherwise, a text popup box will say the armor looks krogan and tells you to talk to Wrex, giving you the "Give Armor to Wrex" objective.
