PC Console Codes
Before you can use the PC console, you have to assign it to a key. Load up Microsoft Notepad (or some other plain-text editing program) and look for the following file within your "My Documents" folder:
BioWare\Mass Effect\Config\BIOInput.ini
After loading that file, search for the line "[Engine.Console]" (w/o quotes) and insert the following line right under it:
ConsoleKey=Tilde
Saving that will allow you to bring up the console window in the game with the tilde (~) key. Once it's up, you can enter the following codes:
* fly -- turn flying mode on (doesn't work very well, but can get you over some obstacles)
* ghost -- turn ghost mode on (lets you walk through anything, including sloping paths)
* walk -- cancel the effects of the fly and ghost codes
* teleport -- move your character to the spot where his weapon sight is pointing
* quit -- immediately exit to the Windows desktop (useful if a certain game control glitch happens)
* givetalentpoints # -- give # talent points to your main character
* givexp # -- give # XP to your entire team
* setparagon # -- set your main character's paragon score to #
* setrenegade # -- set your main character's renegade score to #
* adjustcredits # -- add # to your number of credits (max of 9999999)
* initcredits # -- sets your number of credits to # (max of 9999999)
* initmedigel # -- sets your current medi-gel count to # (max of current medi-gel carrying capacity)
* initgrenades # -- sets your current number of grenades to # (max of current grenade carrying capacity)
* initsalvage # -- set your amount of omni-gel to # (max of 999)
* giveall -- get one of all the different types of weapons, upgrades, bioamps, and omni-tools
* giveallxmods -- get one of all the different types of upgrades
* givesuperarmor -- give your character a suit of armor with super-high protection ratings
* givesupergun -- give your character an assault rifle that does super-high damage
* giveallweapons $ -- get all the weapons from manufacturer $
* giveallarmor $ -- get all the armor from manufacturer $
* giveallbioamps $ -- get all the biotic amps from manufacturer $
* giveallomnitools $ -- get all the omni-tools from manufacturer $
NOTE: In the above "giveall" codes, I don't know what the manufacturer codenames are, but you can type in anything to get some nameless "generic" items.
