Mass Effect Hints

Investigate ExoGeni Headquarters

  • 1 of 14: Talk to Gavin Hossle to get the "Feros: Data Recovery" optional assignment if you want to, then go back to where you left your Mako.
  • 2 of 14: Drive up the ramps and over to a large garage door that automatically opens.
  • 3 of 14: Keep blasting the geth troopers past the door and retreating to let shields recharge until you get them all.
  • 4 of 14: Drive on, watching for geth armatures and troopers, until you reach another big garage door.
  • 5 of 14: After you go through that garage door and the next one, you'll come to the end of the line for the Mako.
  • 6 of 14: Get out and start shooting the geth in the large room to the north. (You could blast some of them with the Mako's weapons, but you'd get less XP for the kills.)
  • 7 of 14: When that room is clear, go up its large ramp to reach a higher floor, then optionally explore the locked room to the north.
  • 8 of 14: The main door has a force field blocking it, and you're not going to be able to shoot your way through that.
  • 9 of 14: So look for the one-way drop-down area that's marked on the area map, then drop down to the lower floor.
  • 10 of 14: Move forward until Lizbeth Baynham talks to you, after which some varrens will attack.
  • 11 of 14: To get up to the main level, find the door near the SW corner of the area you're in.
  • 12 of 14: Go through the door and up the ramp that's past it.
  • 13 of 14: Kill the krogan who attacks after a brief cinematic, then talk to the local VI (virtual intelligence) guy.
  • 14 of 14: You'll learn about the "thorian" creature that everyone's so interested in, and this mission will transform into "Feros: The Thorian."
