1 of 4: First, use the aid station that's near the medical area's exit to restock on medi-gel.
2 of 4: Or better yet, wait to do this until after you visit the engineering deck and speak to the requisition officer. You can buy an upgrade from him that will increase your medi-gel holding capacity from 5 to 6.
3 of 4: Talk to Ashley and Dr. Chakwas in the nearby mess hall to get some morality points and codex entries.
4 of 4: Your locker is right next to Dr. Chakwas, so access it to grab a few useful items.
