Mass Effect Hints
Speak with Gen. Septimus
1 of 9: On your way out of the Consort Chambers, you can ask Nelyna about General Septimus, but you won't learn anything important.
2 of 9: Before you can find the general, you'll have to complete the first objective of the "Citadel: Expose Saren" mission.
3 of 9: Use the Citadel Rapid Transit system to go to Chora's Den.
4 of 9: You'll find Septimus sitting at a table along the west side of the large circular den area that's west of the big square walkway area.
5 of 9: Talk to him about the lies he's spreading about Sha'ira until you get the set of options that includes "Straighten up" and "Get a grip."
6 of 9: You won't be able to use either of those options if your Charm and Intimidate talents aren't high enough, so you may want to wait until they are.
7 of 9: Or you can use the "I'm not leaving" option and go from there to convince him without charming or intimidating him. (You'll be passing up a chance to earn a few morality points, though.)
8 of 9: When he offers you an opportunity to make some extra credits, you should accept in order to get the easy "Citadel: Xeltan's Complaint" assignment.
