What if I can't get the locker open?

2 of 3: If you really want to open it, you could return to the Normandy (via the map screen) and then re-land with a different squad selection that includes someone (like Garrus) with a high Decryption talent.
3 of 3: Unfortunately, you'd be dropped in the same spot you were before, and would have to drive all the way back to the research base.
