Explore the Excavation Site
1 of 11: The excavation site is just a short distance to the north, so get in the Mako and make the quick drive over there.
2 of 11: Get out and run up the structure's entry ramp to find a door.
3 of 11: Use the door's panel to get yourselves put into the mining tunnels area.
4 of 11: Move down the tunnel and open a door to reach a small cave with another door.
5 of 11: Go through the small tunnel past that, then quicksave right before opening the next door.
6 of 11: There are several husks in the next cave area, and you'll want to do your best to take them down at range, even if it means retreating through previous areas.
7 of 11: TIP: When they're chasing you through a tunnel, they'll probably be nicely clustered for a grenade or two.
8 of 11: Search the large cavern for three raidable crates, then approach the two large circular doors near the cavern's NE corner after saving your game.
9 of 11: The doors will both open and let several husks come after you when you approach.
10 of 11: Immediately retreat toward the cavern's SW corner so you can use the same tactics against these husks that you did against the first batch.
11 of 11: The mission is over after they're all dead, and you can go back outside and use the map screen to return to the Normandy.
