Investigate Distress Call
1 of 5: Check the area map to see that the transponder signal is a ways to the south.
2 of 5: Drive the Mako down there, going slow and careful once you get close.
3 of 5: When you reach the point where you can see the beacon down in a large depression, quicksave your game. It's a geth trap!
4 of 5: Various geth enemies will appear all around you when you go down into the depression toward the beacon.
5 of 5: The assignment is over after the geth are defeated. The beacon isn't worth anything (it'll just explode if you approach it), so you might as well head back to the Normandy.
