Head to the Dig Site

  • 1 of 8: The first thing to do is bring up the Mission Computer and select Squad so you can allocate your starting three talent points if you haven't already. You also might want to use the tactical HUD to make sure your current weapon is the one you have the most talent points invested in. (Ditto for your two squad members.)
  • 2 of 8: Move north from where you start to spot some gas bags hovering over a small swampy area.
  • 3 of 8: Get out your weapon and practice sharp-shooting gas bags using zoom mode, then check the NE corner of their swamp for an upgrade kit to loot.
  • 4 of 8: After optionally installing the upgrade items you get, find the path that leads west from the starting area.
  • 5 of 8: When a cinematic takes over, be ready to start firing on three geth recon drones that attack.
  • 6 of 8: After the drones are all destroyed, move forward (north) to where Jenkins' body is.
  • 7 of 8: Investigate it to find that he's dead, and to get a morality-related dialogue with Alenko.
  • 8 of 8: After that's over, you'll move on to the "Continue to Dig Site" objective.
