Trench Run Tips
1 of 8: After you drive north for awhile, you'll come to a corner area where several geth, including a colossus, have set up an ambush.
2 of 8: Don't turn the Mako right when you reach the corner, but instead face right while driving forward slowly to where you can see the colossus in the distance.
3 of 8: Fire at it briefly, then drive backward to dodge its fire before repeating the process.
4 of 8: You'll have to be quick, since the colossus' energy blasts are both very fast-moving and very powerful. Wait out of its sight for shields to recharge whenever necessary.
5 of 8: After it and its companions are all down, go east a ways, then turn south again.
6 of 8: Soon after you turn south, use your zoom scope to see the rocket troopers who are in the trench ahead. They can be very hard to spot without using maximum zoom.
7 of 8: The same is true of the last batch of troopers, who are at the point where the trench turns east again.
8 of 8: After you enter the final section of the trench, wait for your shields to fully recharge, then move on until you get a big cinematic that shows the Sovereign leading a geth attack on the Citadel.
