Exterior Defense Grid Combat Tips
1 of 8: There are four big rocket-firing defense turrets in the area, so you'll want to stay under cover at the west end of the trench to avoid getting rocketed.
2 of 8: You can easily spot the turrets, since they each have three little energy shields on them.
3 of 8: Don't shoot out the shields, or it'll be harder to see the turrets. Instead, shoot a little above the middle shield.
4 of 8: Use your sniper rifle to take a couple of quick shots at a rocket turret, then get back under cover before you get hit.
5 of 8: You should start with the rightmost turret and work your way left.
6 of 8: You'll know when a turret's destroyed, since it'll totally blow up rather than just deactivating.
7 of 8: After all four of those turrets are blown up, it should be a fairly simple matter to pick off the remaining geth as you make your way south.
8 of 8: NOTE: There's an eastern side tunnel full of tough krogans that you can fight for extra XP (or use to bypass the rocket turrets) if you want to.
