Mass Effect Hints

Find Dr. Saleon

  • 1 of 8: Once you board the ship, your objective will change to this title. The Fedele is configured like most other freighters you'll see in the game -- so go through the first few doors until you reach the large cargo hold.
  • 2 of 8: Here is where you'll find some of Saleon's test subjects. They're hostile, but tend to be scattered throughout the area and won't rush right at you as you open the door. This means you can generally get the attention of a few of them and then retreat back to the entrance to take them in smaller numbers.
  • 3 of 8: They have no ranged attacks -- just a single projectile toxin attack that they use as you get close. So the sooner you can kill them, the better. Either biotics like Throw or relatively ranged weapons like pistols and sniper rifles are probably your best bet here.
  • 4 of 8: Once you've killed all the subjects, proceed towards the front of the ship.
  • 5 of 8: "Dr. Heart" is in the room to the right/south as you're headed toward the cockpit. The conversation won't last very long, and none of the options leads to a peaceful ending -- Saleon will run away and refuse to be captured.
  • 6 of 8: It's not much of a fight, but take care of Dr. Saleon to end the assignment. If Garrus is with you, you'll have an extra little conversation with him at the end, but the overall resolution is still the same.
  • 7 of 8: TIP: Don't neglect to search all the containers in Dr. Saleon's room before you leave.
  • 8 of 8: NOTE: The assignment name changes to "Garrus: Dr. Saleon is Dead" upon completion.
