How can I get what I need from the listening post?

  • 1 of 9: When you get there, drive all the way around it to get rachni soldiers to come up from all the big dirt mounds.
  • 2 of 9: Quickly speed away, then turn around and blast the rachni from afar with the Mako's cannon and machine guns.
  • 3 of 9: Park next to the listening post, then get out of the Mako and use the post's entrance console to get in.
  • 4 of 9: Check the two locked containers in the first room, then get out your weapons and start blasting rachni in the larger room to the south.
  • 5 of 9: After they're all dead, explore the two southern-most rooms.
  • 6 of 9: NOTE: Both of those rooms have little rachni-related things that are harmless, but that you can shoot to pieces for fun.
  • 7 of 9: After searching for lootable containers, check out the west side of the western room.
  • 8 of 9: Use the terminal there to find out what happened at this listening post.
  • 9 of 9: Doing so will complete this assignment.
