Northern Fusion Torch Defense Tips
1 of 6: This fusion torch's facility building is protected by six heavy turrets that you'll need to destroy before approaching the building.
2 of 6: The turrets are themselves protected by impenetrable metal shields when no targets are close to them.
3 of 6: This keeps you from sniping them at extreme range, so you'll have to drive (or run on foot) up to where they'll sense you and lower their shields before you can fire on them.
4 of 6: The best way to start is to approach the area from the east. As you get near the huge fusion torch device, you'll see a lone turret on the road ahead.
5 of 6: Quickly blow it up, then drive SW past it to find the other lone turret on the left. (It's a short way almost directly south of the building.)
6 of 6: The four turrets near the building all activate and deactivate together no matter how you approach them, so you'll need to make quick hit-and-retreat attacks against one of them until it's destroyed, wait out of range until your shields fully recharge, and then repeat until they're all blown up.
