Batarian and Varren Combat Tips
1 of 6: As soon as you open the door, start firing on the enemies you can see in the room beyond.
2 of 6: When you see a varren charging toward you, back away from the door and take it down quickly when it runs into your room.
3 of 6: Hang back and repeat the process with the next varren that runs in, then return to the door and shoot the batarians that make themselves visible.
4 of 6: After you kill all of the nearby ones, get out your pistol or sniper rifle and see if you can snipe any of the ones who are under cover.
5 of 6: Then switch back to your best up-close weapon and charge in to finish off the stragglers (after sending your squad in to take the heat for you).
6 of 6: After you do that for the west half of the room, go to the south end and repeat the process with the east half, which will have several more batarians in it.
