How can I get to Liara?

  • 1 of 14: You can't punch through the force field, so you'll have to go on a more roundabout route.
  • 2 of 14: Move along the nearby unbroken walkway, watching for enemies to appear in the large cave area.
  • 3 of 14: Try to snipe them with your pistol or sniper rifle, crouching down and hiding next to the force field when you need cover to let health and shields regenerate.
  • 4 of 14: After the cave floor appears clear, go down the ramps and explore.
  • 5 of 14: Unfortunately, all you'll find is a couple of locked containers in the storage tents area.
  • 6 of 14: There's no existing path you can take to get to Liara, so look for a way to make a new one.
  • 7 of 14: Look around near the base of the walkway's bottom ramp.
  • 8 of 14: You see that huge laser drill there?
  • 9 of 14: You need to activate it to blast a big hole in the floor.
  • 10 of 14: There's an interactive control unit near the laser -- try it.
  • 11 of 14: When you do, it'll bring up a Code Entry Minigame.
  • 12 of 14: Once you win that minigame, the laser will activate and blast you a new path under the force field.
  • 13 of 14: There's no force field blocking your new path, so move along it until you come to a panel.
  • 14 of 14: Use it to elevate yourself up to Liara's floor.
