Colossus Combat Tips
1 of 11: You could take cover next to the security console and fire on the colossus from there, but that would be a waste of ammo since it'll occasionally duck down out of sight and fully repair itself.
2 of 11: Go through the door to the left of the console and down the ramps to where a guy named Kal'Reegar is under cover.
3 of 11: Talk to him to get him to volunteer to keep the colossus busy with his rockets while you move in on it. (Note that accepting this gets you Renegade points, and it's not really all that useful.)
4 of 11: After the conversation is over, you'll be in cover mode against the short red wall that's next to Kal'Reegar. You could stay there while shooting the geth on the field, or you could run back up to the security console room and shoot through its windows. (I've found it a bit easier to dodge colossus blasts in the console room.)
5 of 11: When all the geth you can see (except the colossus) are down, run down the ramp next to the short red wall and take cover behind the stacks of big pipe segments nearby.
6 of 11: Stay there while shooting down the next batch of geth that run onto the field.
7 of 11: Next, run up the nearby ramps, sticking next to the left railing to hopefully avoid getting hit by colossus blasts.
8 of 11: At the top of the ramps, hide behind the big concrete wall section briefly, then storm over to a set of four small crates that are next to the red railing.
9 of 11: You're safe from both sunlight and colossus blasts while in cover mode next to those crates, so stay there while shooting the geth that appear ahead.
10 of 11: After they're down, break cover and run forward to a pair of crates that are also next to the railing. Take cover there briefly, then storm your way up the ramp ahead and take cover behind the metal barricade walls.
11 of 11: From there, you can easily blast the colossus with your heavy weapon, so do that until it blows up. (If you're standing in the right spot, it won't even be able to shoot you.)
