Mass Effect 2 Hints

Project Firewalker: Search For Data.

  • 1 of 12: Move around the large piece of wreckage you start near to trigger a brief audio log, then move on past it to find a large storage container.
  • 2 of 12: Bypass the container's cargo computer control to find the Hammerhead vehicle and enter it.
  • 3 of 12: Your goal now is to use the Hammerhead to reach the widely scattered nodes of research data that you need to recover. (Look for tall pillars of blue light.) Before you start on that, read the important notes below.
  • 4 of 12: From where you start in the Hammerhead, go straight forward and drop down to the lower ground to find the first data node. (Be careful not to land in lava.)
  • 5 of 12: Move forward from the first data node and jump up to the higher ledge to find the second data node.
  • 6 of 12: Mine it as before, then go to the other end of its ledge and jump onto the next ledge.
  • 7 of 12: Past the flame jet, drop down to the lower ground and turn left to find the next data node.
  • 8 of 12: Go on past it and turn right, then look for a stone ramp against the rocky wall on the left. Go up that ramp and jump over to the ledge with the next data node on it.
  • 9 of 12: Drop down to the ground and move along, keeping the edge of the area on your left, until you find a stone archway on some upsloping ground. Jump onto the stone archway, then jump from it onto the higher ledge that's next to it to find the next data node.
  • 10 of 12: Jump over to the next high ledge, then turn right and jump across to another one. It has the next data node among some debris.
  • 11 of 12: Jump back to the previous ledge, then jump from it over to the narrow ledge that's against the side of the area. (Note the piece of flaming debris at its left end.) Move along that ledge until you can drop onto the one with the final data node.
  • 12 of 12: After getting its data, use the Leave World key (F on the PC) to return to the Normandy.
