What's the fastest way to get to the base?
1 of 5: Turn right at the path split and jump-drop down to the first large lower ledge.
2 of 5: Jump-drop down two more ledges to end up on one with an iridium deposit.
3 of 5: When you jump-drop down to the next ledge, make sure you land at a point that's more than halfway along it. If you don't, the roughness of its first part might knock you down into the lava below.
4 of 5: Jump-drop down two more ledges, then onto the ground that's next to a short tunnel.
5 of 5: Go through the tunnel to reach the base entrance area.
