Look for Survivors.
1 of 4: Farther down the path, look for a partial officer's log and some spare parts to salvage.
2 of 4: Use the walkway to the right of the log to enter a section of the ship, then look around for the doctor's logs, two partial crew logs, and a PDA to hack for credits.
3 of 4: Return to the path and go farther down it to find an activated beacon VI.
4 of 4: Talk to the VI to get more information about what happened.
