1 of 4: Go south from the throne area to find some wooden stairs.
2 of 4: Go up them and look for the shaman with several other krogans ahead.
3 of 4: Talk to the shaman about the Rite of Passage.
4 of 4: Watch for a Renegade interrupt you can use to earn the shaman's respect, then say you'll go prepare when you get the option.
