Mass Effect 2 Hints
Survive.
1 of 9: After choosing your second squad member, you'll find yourself next to a glowing green keystone.
2 of 9: Ignore it and look all around the arena area to find two turbine parts to bypass for credits, four urdnot corpses to search for credits, and a box of refined platinum.
3 of 9: Also note the locations of med kits, power cell boxes, and thermal clips. You won't need any of those yet, but you might later on.
4 of 9: When you're done looking around, get out your shotgun and go over to the keystone.
5 of 9: Quicksave, then use the keystone. Run into the corner that's just past the right side of the keystone, and stand with your back to it.
6 of 9: Position your two squad members a bit ahead of you to cover the approach to your corner, then wait for varren to start attacking.
7 of 9: Quickly shotgun-blast any varren that get past your squad. You might also want to use your special powers on varren that get close to a squad member to help protect them.
8 of 9: Watch for an opportunity to quicksave after the first wave of varren is killed off. Also, you may need to reposition your squad if they start running off when the second wave begins. (The same goes for when the third wave begins.)
9 of 9: After the third wave is done, you'll get the next objective.
