Mass Effect 2 Hints
Retake the Alarei.
1 of 5: Go through the door ahead, then run forward for cover. There are several geth in the room that you'll need to shoot down.
2 of 5: Go through the corridor's third openable door, then quickly take cover to the left before attacking the geth hunter that's in the room with you.
3 of 5: Go up the stairs and take cover to fight the geth in the next room. If some of them reach you, storm quickly down the stairs and use the previous room for cover.
4 of 5: Past the next door, take cover against the railing to the left of the stairs, then shoot down the geth that enter the room before they can climb the stairs. (Note that if some do make it up the stairs, you can retreat back to the previous room.)
5 of 5: Go through the downstairs room's back doorway to find Tali's dead father. (Watch for an early Paragon interrupt in the conversation cut-scene.)
