Mass Effect 2 Hints
Leave with IFF.
of 8: Hack the wall safe to the right of the next door for credits, then open the door to start a brief cut-scene. When it's over, move back against the door and start shooting husks as they charge you.
of 8: After they're all down, check the left side of the area for thermal clips and a credits-giving laptop, then quicksave.
of 8: Target the big reaper core device on the other side of the room and shoot it until a shield closes over it. When it does, stop shooting it and get ready for a major husk and abomination attack.
of 8: You'll have to use your shotgun (or heavy weapon) and all of your best powers to keep yourself alive long enough to finish off all of the husks and abominations. (Be sure to use Unity as soon as you can if both of your squad members fall.)
of 8: After they stop coming, check around for leftover thermal clips, then quicksave again.
of 8: Shoot the core until it get shielded again, after which another husk-and-abomination attack will happen.
of 8: TIP: During this attack, keep an eye on the core. When its shield reopens, quickly blast it with your heavy weapon until it's destroyed. That'll instantly destroy all remaining husks and abominations.
of 8: After the core is destroyed, move toward the fallen geth that's near the core to get the mission-ending cut-scenes.
