Mass Effect 2 Hints
Defend the Core.
1 of 7: Take cover against the railing to the left or right of the geth console and look into the large lower-floor room ahead.
2 of 7: That's where all the enemy geth will be coming in. If you don't shoot them down fast enough, they'll go up some one-way ramps to get to your floor.
3 of 7: While they're still down there, pan your view around to where you can activate some of the lower area's rocket drones.
4 of 7: There are several waves of geth, each one progressively harder. You'll probably want to save most of your rocket drones (especially the two on your floor) as long as you can.
5 of 7: When geth get up to your floor, leave the railing and run for cover farther back in the room. Staying at the railing will just get you caught in a deadly crossfire.
6 of 7: After you get them all, Legion will ask if you want to rewrite the heretics' codes or destroy the station.
7 of 7: Either way works, though note that the rewrite is a Paragon choice, and destroying the station is a Renegade choice.
