Mass Effect 2 Hints

Stop the Javelin Missiles.

  • 1 of 9: Run forward and turn left to find some batarian troopers to shoot down, then run the other way and bypass the lock on the door. (The minigame doesn't pause the six-minute countdown, so do it as quickly as you can.)
  • 2 of 9: As soon as the door is open, run forward and take cover next to the nearby crate.
  • 3 of 9: Quickly shoot down all the batarians you can from there, then go down the steps to the lower floor, turn left, and go down the steps to the lowest floor.
  • 4 of 9: There will be several batarians next to an upper-floor railing nearby, so run partway back up the steps for cover while shooting them.
  • 5 of 9: After they're all down, check the nearby door to see if its lock is bypassable yet. If not, go look for more batarians.
  • 6 of 9: When they're all dead, the door's lock will be bypassable, so quickly go bypass it.
  • 7 of 9: Stay near the door and shoot down the batarian commander in the area ahead, then run over to where he was to find a kill switch console.
  • 8 of 9: Hack the console to get the choice of whether to save the spaceport or the capital city. (Note that saving the capital city gets you Paragon points, and saving the spaceport gets you Renegade points.)
  • 9 of 9: After that's done, loot the nearby wall safe, then return to the large room and look around for power cells and paladium. When you're ready to return to the Normandy, use the Leave World key (F on the PC).
