Mass Effect 2 Hints

Reactivate Engines.

  • 1 of 10: Quickly run forward to the locked door and do its bypass minigame to open it. (The minigame doesn't pause the six-minute countdown, so do it as quickly as you can.)
  • 2 of 10: As soon as the door's open, start shooting the geth in the room past it.
  • 3 of 10: Loot the medical station and iridium box that are along the left side of the room, then look on the other side for the engine room emergency seal override console.
  • 4 of 10: Use it to open the next door, then run through it and go right to reach the engine room.
  • 5 of 10: Run down the ramps ahead and take cover next to the crate stacks while shooting the geth that are on the nearby upper walkways.
  • 6 of 10: After you kill the first few, go down the last ramp and turn right to find the first big power coupling device. Quickly use it turn it back on. Doing so is a process that takes a bit of time, and being shot by geth will interrupt the process and force you to start over after shooting down the offending geth.
  • 7 of 10: After that one's on, run back over to the base of the lowest ramp and look behind the crate stacks for an iridium box.
  • 8 of 10: Head across the pipes near the iridium box to get to the other side of the engine room, where you'll find the second big power coupling device. It works just like the first one.
  • 9 of 10: As soon as it's turned back on, ignore the geth and storm-run your way up the nearby ramps to reach the big engine control panel.
  • 10 of 10: Bypass it to restart the engines and finish the assignment.
