Mass Effect 2 Hints
Destroy Geth Climate Device.
1 of 8: Look around the shuttle landing area for two lit flares. Loot the refined palladium rock that's near one of them, then go up the sloping path that's marked by the other one.
2 of 8: It's a side path that'll get you to the same area that going past the first flare would get you to. The advantage of the side path is that you'll find three more palladium rocks to raid before encountering your first few geth.
3 of 8: While fighting the geth, hang back and use rock formations for cover. Look for the orange targeting HUD outline around geth so you can track them through the dense fog.
4 of 8: There are quite a few geth in the area, so take your time and let them come to you.
5 of 8: Past them, look for thermal clips and three palladium rocks, two of which are near a crate with a lit flare on it.
6 of 8: Past that flare are three more palladium rocks and a bunch of geth. (You can find all three rocks before the geth see you if you're careful.)
7 of 8: Finish off the geth from cover, then look in the area past them for one last palladium rock and a geth device.
8 of 8: Use the device to finish the assignment and get a damage protection upgrade.
