Mass Effect 2 Hints
Recover Stolen Data.
1 of 7: As soon as you open the building's entry door, run forward and to the left to find a crate stack to hide behind.
2 of 7: There are a couple of Eclipse soldiers in the room ahead, and several more will run in through the doors in the back. Stay behind your crates and shoot them from there, running back outside for better cover when your shields get knocked down.
3 of 7: After the battle, get onto the raised flooring and go into the back room to find a med kit and a wall safe you can hack into for credits.
4 of 7: Go back to the first room and look for a security console you can read a few log entries on, and a holding cell access device that you need to do a bypass minigame on.
5 of 7: After you do the bypass, take cover in the back room with the wall safe while fighting the next wave of Eclipse enemies. They're a lot tougher, but they won't charge you. Instead, they'll take cover near where they enter the room, waiting for you to come out for some shootin'.
6 of 7: Once that's over, go over to the two newly unlocked doors. The one on the right leads to a room where you can pick up some more refined platinum from a crate, and the other one leads to a door you'll have to open via bypass minigame.
7 of 7: Access the computer console in the room past the door, then decide what to do with the information. (Note that it doesn't really matter what you choose here.)
