Mech Combat Tips

  • 1 of 9: Quickly shoot down the two FENRIS mechs that run into view right ahead of you, then run back to the room's entry door.
  • 2 of 9: Move slowly forward from there until you find a good spot to take cover and shoot the mechs that are in the big lower-floor area to the left.
  • 3 of 9: Or go back through the door and call your squad over, then let the door close. Wait a bit, then open the door and shoot the mechs that came after you.
  • 4 of 9: Repeat that until they stop coming, then go get the ones that stubbornly refuse to leave the big lower-floor area.
  • 5 of 9: Go over to the ramp that leads down to the lower floor, then shoot down any mechs you can see before going down the ramp.
  • 6 of 9: Turn left and start moving among the big crate stacks to get more mechs to appear ahead, then hang back and use the crates for cover while blasting them.
  • 7 of 9: Get all of those mechs, then return to the bottom of the ramp and go the other way to find several more mechs to trash.
  • 8 of 9: As you proceed along, many more mechs will "come awake" and attack you. Always retreat to a spot near the bottom of the ramp for cover so you can easily take down each wave.
  • 9 of 9: After you clear your way to the ramp that's in the back right corner of the lower-floor area, the combat should be over, and you can finally quicksave.
