1 of 3: Go down the nearby stairs and through a couple of doors to return to the Lower Afterlife area.
2 of 3: Talk to Forvan again, then choose a Paragon or Renegade dialogue option if you can. Otherwise, say he's done poisoning people and he's not worth your time.
3 of 3: NOTE: If you come back later, you'll find that Forvan has been replaced with a friendly Salarian bartender who will give you non-poisoned drinks on the house.
