Mass Effect 2 Hints

Illium Tour

  • 1 of 11: Enter the trading floor area and enjoy the magnificent view, then look for the Serrice Technology store terminal along its south side.
  • 2 of 11: Talk to the merchant and try to get a discount, then see if there's anything you want to buy.
  • 3 of 11: Go up the stairs on the east side of the trading floor and through a couple of doors to enter the Eternity Bar area.
  • 4 of 11: In there, you can listen in on a bachelor party, talk to the bartender about various things, and do the "Illium: Indentured Service" optional assignment.
  • 5 of 11: Return to the south side of the trading floor, then go through the door with the "transportation" and "shipping" signs above it. (Note that the stairs near the door lead to Liara T'Soni's office, which you'll be visiting soon for a mission.)
  • 6 of 11: Past a short corridor is the shipping area. There's nothing to do there now, so go through its south door and another short corridor to get to the transportation hub.
  • 7 of 11: Go left (east) to find the Gateway Personal Defense store terminal. (Unfortunately, the weapons merchant won't let you talk her into giving you a discount.)
  • 8 of 11: South of that is the Memories of Illium store terminal, which sells a few pricey items for decorating your cabin on the Normandy.
  • 9 of 11: Talk to the asari near the terminal and do her "Illium: Blue Rose of Illium" optional assignment to get a discount on the store merchandise.
  • 10 of 11: On the west side of the area, talk to the colonist near the police booth to get the "Illium: Medical Scans" optional assignment.
  • 11 of 11: Finish it, then use the Baria Frontiers terminal to buy star charts that will open up new galactic clusters for you to do planetary mining and optional assignments in. (Note that you don't have to buy the Shrike Abyssal chart, since it'll be opened up when you finish the "N7: Blood Pack Communications Relay" optional assignment.)
