Mass Effect 3 Hints

What all optional things can I do before starting this mission?

  • 1 of 9: Talk to Admiral Raan in the war room, then use the "Distress Call" terminal near her. As soon as EDI clears up the signal, turn to Raan and warn her to get some rep points.
  • 2 of 9: Talk to Tali and the Geth VI if you want, then go to the galaxy map area to get the optional "N7: Fuel Reactors" mission.
  • 3 of 9: On deck 3, talk to Garrus in the main battery area to get some rep points, then enter Liara's room and support either her or Joker to get two more rep points. For even more rep points, talk to James on deck 5.
  • 4 of 9: If you got an email from Miranda about meeting on the Citadel, you can get some morality points by entering room 82 in the Presidium Commons' apartment area and talking to her.
  • 5 of 9: Look near the Presidium Commons' C-Sec outpost to find Tali arguing with a diplomat. Support either one of them to get two rep points.
  • 6 of 9: After that, check out the Silean Nebula and Argos Rho clusters to find a few new assets.
  • 7 of 9: Finish the "Citadel: Kakliosaur Fossil" hub mission, then do the above-mentioned N7 mission.
  • 8 of 9: After that, you can finish the "Citadel: Chemical Treatment" hub mission. You can also go to deck 3 on the Normandy and settle an argument between your ship's doctor and Engineer Adams to get a couple of rep points.
  • 9 of 9: After you finish one of the two other Rannoch missions, there'll be a couple more optionals available.
