What's the best way to kill off these troopers?
1 of 9: If you have a sniper rifle equipped, you could stay near your end of the area and snipe the troopers down from there.
2 of 9: Otherwise, sprint down the long walkway to a spot about halfway down it, then take cover next to a low wall that you can aim and shoot over.
3 of 9: Use the Scorpion pistol to do some quick and serious damage, then finish up with an assault rifle (or the Scorpion if you don't run out of ammo for it).
4 of 9: That's not all, though. More troopers will show up in a shuttle if you take much time between killing the last one and using the terminal that's near the krogan pod.
5 of 9: When you use that terminal, a huge mech called an atlas will attack along with more troopers.
6 of 9: Don't stay in your starting cover, but immediately exit cover mode and run over to the taller cover that's a ways to the left. Hide there and shoot the mech as it slowly advances.
7 of 9: Using your best weapons and shield-damaging powers (like Overload), you should be able to take it down before it can reach your new cover position. Don't hesitate to use your First Aid power if one or both of your squad members go down (or if you get badly injured) before that happens.
8 of 9: If the mech gets too close, sprint up the nearby stairs and along the long walkway to help find cover from it. Just don't run over toward the regular troopers unless you want to take them out first.
9 of 9: After the mech is destroyed, you should be able to stay in the same spot for cover while finishing off the rest of the troopers.
