Mass Effect 3 Hints

Catch Dr. Eva.

  • 1 of 9: Dr. Eva will run by near you when you regain control, so sprint after her. You're not expected to catch her right away, but if you let her get too far ahead, you'll be counted as losing her (which is a critical mission failure).
  • 2 of 9: Don't bother shooting her -- just stay close until she enters the tram station's security room.
  • 3 of 9: Open its door and quickly strafe left or right to dodge her fire, then enter the security room and use the terminal at its other end.
  • 4 of 9: Cover-climb through the windows, then sprint after her through the doorway on the left.
  • 5 of 9: Climb the ladder past the doorway, then continue sprinting after Dr. Eva. If you stop long enough to shoot down the two enemy troopers that show up in a shuttle, you may fall too far behind. (Note that you should take care to dodge occasional fire from Eva.)
  • 6 of 9: On the other side of the area, follow Dr. Eva down a ramp and across to a spot where you'll have to cover-climb onto a couple of things to reach a ladder.
  • 7 of 9: Run forward after climbing the ladder to get a cut-scene. After it's over, Dr. Eva will be running toward you in slow motion.
  • 8 of 9: Hold down the "Aim" key and fire at her until she goes down.
  • 9 of 9: After a long series of cut-scenes, you'll start the first "Priority: The Citadel" mission. (Note that near the end of those cut-scenes, you can get some paragon points by saying you'll visit your injured squad member in the hospital before seeing the Council.)
