1 of 3: Stay on the steps and wait for husks to come to you for shotgun blasts or melee whacks. If your squad members run off, assign them to positions at the bottom of the stairs.
2 of 3: After the husks are all killed, you'll get a long cut-scene during which you need to decide whether or not to reveal what the salarian Dalatrass told you earlier.
3 of 3: If you do, you'll be making sure that the genophage cure is a success. That'll get you lots of paragon points and the krogan as a major war asset after the mission is over. If you stay silent, you'll get one more chance to decide what to do later on.
