Mass Effect 3 Hints
Shrike Abyssal: Prothean Obelisk
1 of 7: To get this mission, go to the back of the east end of the Citadel's embassy area, either during the first "Priority: The Citadel" mission or later on.
2 of 7: The Shrike Abyssal cluster won't be on the galaxy map until you get the "Priority: Sur'Kesh" mission.
3 of 7: Once it's there, travel to it, then go from the entry system to the Urla Rast system and start scanning.
4 of 7: Note that the reapers are very sensitive to scans in this system, so you'll probably want to quicksave before you start scanning.
5 of 7: The banner you need is on the planet Talis Fia, which is a bit "up and left" from the sun.
6 of 7: Do a scan near that planet, then orbit the planet and scan it to find the Prothean Obelisk artifact.
7 of 7: Return to the spot in the Citadel's embassy area where you got this mission, then talk to the diplomat to get some credits and rep points.
