Mass Effect 3 Hints

Stop Council Elevator.

  • 1 of 8: Turn right, then look up and wait until your elevator comes near the bottom of another one. When it does, notice its two targetable power conduits.
  • 2 of 8: Quickly use the Command HUD to destroy both of those conduits with damaging powers such as Concussive Shot and Warp, then take cover against the nearest power device on your elevator (on the same side that the enemy elevator was on).
  • 3 of 8: Soon after Bailey mentions incoming phantoms, your elevator car will come parallel with one that has a couple of phantoms on top of it. It also has two power conduits on its top, so use the Command HUD and destructive powers to quickly destroy them as soon as they become targetable.
  • 4 of 8: That'll probably prevent any phantoms from leaping over to your car. If not, stay hidden and hope your squad can take him out. (If that doesn't work, try ignoring the power conduits and using powers, especially Singularity, on the phantoms directly.)
  • 5 of 8: After that's done, stand up and turn around to face the other shaft, where you blew out the power conduits on the bottom of the first enemy elevator. You'll have another opportunity to do so very shortly.
  • 6 of 8: When that's done, go to the other side of your elevator and wait for a chance to jump across to the top of the Council elevator. When you do, a series of cut-scenes will start.
  • 7 of 8: In them, you'll need to convince your recovered former squad member that Udina's behind the assassination plot. After the first dialogue choice, watch for a paragon interrupt.
  • 8 of 8: Soon after that, you'll get another dialogue choice in which you can use a paragon or renegade option to convince your former squad member that you're telling the truth. You can then use a renegade interrupt to shoot Udina yourself, or just wait for your former squad member to do it.
