Protect Civilians.
1 of 5: You'll be manning the shuttle's turret, so use it to shoot down the geth that are running toward the civilians' position. (Note that they're a ways to the right of the civilians.)
2 of 5: They won't be too hard to shoot, but the shuttle's constant motion may make it a bit difficult to keep a steady aim.
3 of 5: They'll start firing on the shuttle before long, and it will be possible for them to shoot it down if you don't take them out fast enough.
4 of 5: After you finish off the first group of geth, the civilians will change location, and a new group of geth will appear and pursue them.
5 of 5: Shoot them all down before they can shoot you down in order to get the mission-ending cut-scenes.
