Mass Effect 3 Hints

Defend Missile Battery.

  • 1 of 10: Look to the left of the missile platform for a large corner building area that you can cover-climb into. Sprint around and look for supplies, including two med kits and some ammo.
  • 2 of 10: There's also a Hydra Missile Launcher heavy weapon behind the long counter. You might want to pick it up and then go drop it (by switching to a regular weapon) next to the long window that faces the street ahead.
  • 3 of 10: Take cover next to that window and fire on the husks, cannibals, and marauders that run to the attack. Watch out for the occasional marauder making it to the building's side window and shooting you from there.
  • 4 of 10: After you finish that bunch off and get a radio message, a new wave of enemies that includes two banshees will approach from the left. Shoot down as many lesser enemies as you can before the first banshee shows up, then kill it with the Hydra Missile Launcher. (Or you may prefer to save it for the banshee battle that happens a bit later.)
  • 5 of 10: Use the shelves in the store as cover while fighting the second banshee, then run around as necessary while finishing off the last marauders and cannibals.
  • 6 of 10: Go over to the missile battery and use its terminal to launch the missiles, then get ready for the most insane combat yet. A bunch of brutes will charge in from all directions, and you'll have to run around like crazy to avoid getting surrounded and pounded.
  • 7 of 10: Don't try to maneuver around within one side building, but instead move through them and around the rubble in the street using sprinting and quick cover-climbs. Keep making a long circuit around the area, firing on brutes when you get the chance, and using medi-gel every time both of your squad members go down.
  • 8 of 10: When all the brutes and the harvester that shows up at some point are finally all killed, bunches of banshees and marauders will flood into the area. However, you don't have to kill them all -- you just need to survive until you get the next objective.
  • 9 of 10: Note that if you venture out into the central area, you can be blasted by the advancing reaper. Try to stay inside the corner buildings as much as possible, but don't let yourself get surrounded by banshees, or you'll be just as dead as if the reaper got you.
  • 10 of 10: If you left the Hydra Missile Launcher at or near the counter where you found it, you could take cover behind that counter and use the launcher to kill one of the first two banshees to come after you. You could then shoot down the second one, after which it would be a short while before any more got near you. Stay behind the counter and shoot marauders until you get the next objective, then sprint past the second pair of banshees without fighting them.
