Mass Effect 3 Hints
What else do I need to do to finish the game?
of 8: After you regain control, move down the red-lit corridor until you reach some doors that open for you.
of 8: Keep going forward until you reach the platform that Anderson is on. That'll start a cut-scene in which you'll converse with the Illusive Man.
of 8: Choose all the paragon or renegade options you can while talking to him. If you can use all four, you'll be able to convince him to defy reaper control and kill himself.
of 8: Otherwise, watch for renegade interrupts that'll allow you to shoot him before he can shoot Anderson and then you. (Note that you can continue if Anderson is killed, but not if you are.)
of 8: Next is a cut-scene in which you talk to the freaky "Catalyst" being. After that's over, move forward to a spot where there's a ramp on the right, and maybe one on the left, too. (Note that the left ramp won't be available if your effective military strength value is very low.)
of 8: If there's a left ramp, you can go up it and turn right, then move up to a control terminal. Use it to get the "control the reapers" endgame cut-scenes.
of 8: If you go up the right ramp, turn left at the top of it and move forward until you can target a power conduit. Shoot it several times to get the "destroy the reapers" endgame cut-scenes.
of 8: NOTE: Your effective military strength will determine exactly how good or bad the ending is. To get the very best ending, you'll have to have gotten your readiness rating above 50% by playing multiplayer (or so I've heard).
