Mass Effect 3 Hints

Misc. Tips

  • 1 of 4: When exploring, you can sprint (or "storm," as the game calls it) to move along faster. Unlike in Mass Effect 2, you can sprint for as long as you want without having to rest.
  • 2 of 4: No matter where you are or what you're doing, always keep an eye out for interactive items that will give you useful things like credits and XP when you use them.
  • 3 of 4: In the PC version of the game, you can often press the SPACEBAR to skip past non-interactive sections of cut-scenes, thereby skipping quickly past long cut-scenes that you've already seen. Hopefully, other gaming platforms have a key or button that can do the same thing.
  • 4 of 4: If you have as much medi-gel as you can carry, looting med kits and medical stations will give you XP instead of medi-gel. That's better than nothing, but it can often be useful to pass up those containers until after the next combat or two, during which you may need to use your First Aid power (which consumes one medi-gel per use). If so, go back and pick up the ones(s) you passed up after the combat is over. (If you can get back to them, that is -- it won't always be possible.)
