Mass Effect 3 Hints
Defend Barricade.
1 of 7: Use the mounted turret, then watch for a bunch of husks running into the area ahead and trying to climb up to where they can get onto the barricade.
2 of 7: There are two climb-up points, one on the left and one on the right. If you can't shoot down the husks as fast as they appear, concentrate your fire on those climbing up at either point.
3 of 7: Your squad members will help with husks that get past your fire, but don't let too many of them do that. If you come under attack, exit the turret view and use melee attacks to quickly kill all nearby husks.
4 of 7: When you kill enough husks, a giant freak called a brute will appear and ram the barricade. That knocks you off of it, which means you can't use the turret against it.
5 of 7: You'll regain control next to a small rock formation. Exit cover mode and move around next to those rocks while blasting the brute in the head with a shotgun or assault rifle, being careful to stay out of its long reach.
6 of 7: Watch out for husks coming after you while you do that. Hopefully, no more than one at a time will be able to make it to you, and you'll be able to take them down with melee attacks.
7 of 7: Watch your squad members carefully. If both of them go down, use your First Aid power to get them back into the fight if the brute isn't already almost dead.
