Magic Carpet 2 Hints
Exploring
Each of the worlds of Magic Carpet 2 is large, and very detailed. You may be very busy in the early stages of winning a level, but as you gain mastery of the world, start to explore the landscape a bit. If you see any unusual patterns, they are worth investigating. Fly along any trenches, or ridges. Visit any standing stones, statues, or headstones you find. Look for circles of trees or mushrooms, or small islands in an ocean. Often there is some wonder there, waiting to be released.
As you collect more manna, keep checking the grey and white manna bars in the castle stone display. You haven't grown your castle to the highest possible level until the grey bar fills the box. And, you haven't found everything available until the white bar fills, or nearly fills the box. Also note that your castle will stop collecting manna when the white bar fills the gray bar. Grow your castle a level to allow your balloons to collect more manna. Collecting more manna will also sometimes trigger a new event.
Often, if you have done a good job in a level, you will see a group of scrolls on the ground. Be sure to pick these all up! Each one gives you an experience boost on some spell. You will need them all.
