Metal Gear Solid Hints

Sniper Wolf

  • 1 of 7: Sniper Wolf is on the second floor of the tower, and you need to hit her a few times to beat her.
  • 2 of 7: Take your PSG-1 Sniper Rifle out, and aim for Wolf, tracking her when she runs around.
  • 3 of 7: You may take a few hits before you get settled -- this is normal. Just concentrate on hitting Wolf. If you get hit, your view will become unbalanced, so deselect the PSG-1, line up again, and reselect it.
  • 4 of 7: Sniper Wolf will often hide behind the pillars, then pop out for a pot shot.
  • 5 of 7: When she goes behind a pillar, you can tell which side she will come from by the direction of her foggy breath. However, she sometimes goes the other way, so watch out.
  • 6 of 7: After a few hits, Sniper Wolf will be down.
  • 7 of 7: If you are finding it difficult to aim steadily, find some Diazepam in the Wolf Caves or the Nuke Building. This will stop you from trembling, and provides a much easier time when trying to aim.
