Metal Gear Solid Hints
Vulcan Raven
1 of 7: This battle should prove relatively easy, as although Raven has a massive field of vision, there are plenty of crates to hide behind.
2 of 7: Vulcan Raven only has one attack -- his extremely damaging gatling gun, but this is more than enough to tear you to pieces if you are not careful.
3 of 7: You should avoid getting caught in front of him at all costs.
4 of 7: Raven walks around the room, shooting at almost every intersection, before he walks past it.
5 of 7: To hit him, you can either use grenades, Claymore mines, Nikita missiles, the SOCOM, FA-MAS, or, most effectively, the Stinger missile.
6 of 7: Wait until Raven gets to an intersection, then shoot him with a Stinger missile.
7 of 7: After a while he starts to run and shoot down the crates, and as a result some paths may be blocked off. When this happens, be careful that you don't get caught down a dead end.
