Mission Critical Hints

How can I fix the TCS dish?

  • 1 of 13: If you ask the main computer (you need to fix it first), it will tell you that the EC2001 and EC2010 modules on the TCS dish are broken.
  • 2 of 13: First, try to find those parts.
  • 3 of 13: Look in the secure cargo bay on Deck 2.  You'll find the EC2010 module there.
  • 4 of 13: Even though the EC2001 module is not in the secure cargo bay, there is a note telling you where it is.
  • 5 of 13: It's in the VR set, located on Deck 3, in the mess hall.
  • 6 of 13: Take the VR's CPU module (it's fairly small, but it's on the VR unit) and open it to get the EC2001 module.
  • 7 of 13: Now you need to walk out of the ship to reach the dish.
  • 8 of 13: Of course, you shouldn't just walk into a vacuum without the proper equipment.
  • 9 of 13: I didn't find directions to the TCS dish anywhere, but you should be able to find it with a bit of trial and error.  Or read on to the next hint to find out where to go.
  • 10 of 13: As soon as you've exited the shuttle bay, take the following path: F (forward), R (right), F, R, F, R, F, L (left), D (down), and U.
  • 11 of 13: Take out the old EC2001 and EC2010 units and replace them with the spares you found.
  • 12 of 13: Now, all you need to do is get back to the inside of the ship.
  • 13 of 13: Follow the path that you took to the TCS dish, go back into the control room, close the door, and repressurize the room.
