Mission Critical Hints
How do I open the safe in Dahl's quarters?
of 18: It uses a retinal scanner.
of 18: There's no way to get past the scanner.
of 18: So look for something that will help you get past the scanner.
of 18: Seen any good retinal patterns lately?
of 18: Well, there's a traitor on board the Lexington.
of 18: Maybe s/he has a copy of the patterns you need.
of 18: Once you've found evidence of the traitor, you should also have a way to get into the safe.
of 18: The retinal scanner (you'll find it with the evidence -- see the last link if you need help) on the safe requires two eyes.
of 18: And that binocular-like device you found in Poole's stateroom is made for two eyes.
of 18: Maybe the two go together.
of 18: All you need now is the proper retinal pattern.
of 18: The code names that you'll see when you turn on the device and look into it actually mean something. If you find the pattern, you should be able to match up the names with people.
of 18: Read the crew manifest again if you can't figure it out.
of 18: The initials of the code names are the same as the initials of the crew members.
of 18: Dahl's first name is Michael.
of 18: So take the Miracle Dark pattern (both are MD).
of 18: Make sure the device is turned on, and put it against the scanner on the safe to unlock the safe.
