What is the full solution?
1 of 4: The following solution assumes that the ropes have not been moved. If they have, restore the game from a game save. Note: if you did not save the game when you entered the room, you can still use the autosave made by the game.
2 of 4: First move rope 1 (the one near the door) 8 times.
3 of 4: Move rope 2 (the one to the left of the twisted walkway fragment) 6 times.
4 of 4: Go back to rope 3 (the one to the right of the twisted walkway fragment) 2 times.
