Mysterious Journey II Hints
Gallery of Heroes: What do I do with all the paths and forcefields?
of 14: Have you tried to walk along the paths? What happens when you pass through the odd bent poles at the side of the path?
of 14: Once a forcefield has been activated, it will block further movement on that path. The forcefields can be deactivated again...
of 14: ...simply look on the sides of the poles to find and press one of the small buds. Resetting any forcefield with its bud will cause all the forcefields to be reset at once.
of 14: With all these paths and forcefields, there must be a specific task to accomplish....
of 14: Loreann gave you a clue as to what you should do.
of 14: Loreann told you two riddles. To go back and read them, look in the transcript (press Escape to go to the menu and select 'Transcript').
of 14: "A museum is the place to be, Where doors can hear and walls can see. If all your gates are closed together, The path is clear and sure forever."
of 14: Your goal is to get all the forcefields closed.
of 14: It is easier said than done, since you can only walk through each gate once. You may wish to draw a map of all the paths and forcefields, to help you plan out your route.
of 14: When figuring it out on paper, one forcefield may seem impossible to go through. At some point, you may need to go back to the game and check out the paths again.
of 14: It's only one forcefield that's causing problems. Too bad you can't jump between paths....
of 14: Oh, but you can -- at least you can jump from one path.
of 14: Go to the center of the paths, the place where there are two levels. Stand on the higher level and look to the side. You should see another path directly underneath you. It is possible to drop from the higher path to the lower one. Go back to the map of paths and plan out a new route.
of 14: It's less confusing to travel the paths if you first do the two odd paths in the middle -- going across the higher path and dropping down to the lower one. After that, make a circle around the very outside of the paths. And last of all, make another circle around, this time traveling just inside the paths just used.
